Weekend Recap: Smet's OT Winner Completes Comback

Ryan Smet's OT winner with 1:23 left completed a big comeback from the Bears on Saturday.

Saturday (W 6-5) vs. Mosinee Papermakers

Trailing 5-2 in the third period, the Bears came roaring back, getting a pair of goals from Nick Monfils and one from Matt Letmanski to tie the game and send it to OT. With just 1:23 remaining, Ryan Smet found the back of the net to give the Bears a 6-5 come-from-behind victory to keep their undefeated season intact. Monfils and Anthony Grebe each had three-point nights, with Joe Llaurado, Connor Martin, Letmanski, and Robbie Coleman each having two-point nights. Alex Kruger got the start in net, stopping 42 shots.
