Weekend Preview: Bears to Face De Pere and Calumet
2022-12-09Friday night the team travels to De Pere before coming home Saturday for a matchup with the Calumet Wolverines.
Fond du Lac, WI - It's a two-game weekend for the Bears this weekend as the season starts to get into high gear.
Tonight, the Bears will face off with the De Pere Deacons in De Pere at 7:30 PM.
The Deacons come into the game with a 1-1-0-0 record to start the season. Riley Christensen leads the way for the Deacons through two games with four goals and two assists for six points.
Saturday, the Bears will be back on home ice for the first time since November 12 when the team hosts the Calumet Wolverines.
The Wolverines, who play Friday at Mosinee, enter the weekend 1-1 as well, with Brentt Loukus and Logan Rastello both leading the team with four points in two games.
For the Bears, they currently have 12 different skaters averaging at least a point per game in GLHL action so far this season, led by Jordan Foster, whose 14 points and 20 penalty minutes are both top marks for the Bears in the Great Lakes Hockey League.
