Bears Host Bombers in GLHL Regular Season Opener

Fond du Lac, WI - For the second time in three games this season, the Bears will see a familiar foe, as the West Bend Bombers come back to Fond du Lac to open up the Bears GLHL home schedule.

When they last met on October 29, the Bears defeated the Bombers 11-3 to reclaim the Keevin Cup, which had been in the Bomber's possession since 2017. 

The Bears enter the game 2-0 overall, 1-0 in the GLHL.

Prior to the game, the Bears will honor former goaltender Del Diaz, as Diaz will drop the first puck, and the 2021-22 Bears mug, "The Diaz Cup" will officially be unveiled. 

Also taking place Saturday, the first-ever Fond du Lac Bears Turkey Races will occur during the first intermission. Kids who are mites, squirts, or peewees will have a chance to race Terrence the Turkey through an obstacle course on the ice for a chance to win some prizes from the Bears. Kids must bring their own skates, gloves, and helmet to be eligible to race. All participating kids will be admitted to the game free of charge.
