Weekend Recap: Papermakers Come From Behind to Steal Victory

The Mosinee Papermakers came back in the thrid period to grab a 6-5 exhibition vicotry over the Bears Saturday.
The Bears led going into the third period, but couldn't pull out the victory Saturday night.
Saturday (L 6-5) vs. Mosinee
Nick Monfils, Ian McKinch and Robbie Coleman each recorded two points in the Bears losing effort. After trailing 2-1 after the first, the Bears found the net four times in the second to take a 5-4 lead into the final frame before falling. Team Canada women's goalie and former Wisconsin Badger Anne-Renee Desbiens stopped 41 shots for the Bears. The Bears are 1-3 overall, but 1-0 in GLHL play.
